Tafelrond – The Round Table, is a building on the east side of the Grote Markt in Leuven. The name comes from the fact that the citizens could meet there for centuries, but in the course of time, the building also served as a theatre and a bank. The fourth version of Tafelrond now accommodates a hotel with an attached restaurant of the same name. Guests of the restaurant can enjoy the surroundings from the Bamboo X-treme® terrace with natural bamboo planters in front of the restaurant. The appearance of the sustainable bamboo terrace stands in a noble contrast to the bright neo-classical facade.
More than 6.5 million m² of Bamboo X-treme® decking boards have been installed in more than 50 countries.
